Collaboration with
Vera Cornelius
For the last 2 years it has been my pleasure to collaborate with Vera. As a fellow long term resident of Heidelberg, she has an excellent local knowledge of the area, it’s history & all the best places to go.
Originally a native of the Saarland region of Germany near France. From 2006 until 2016 Vera was the Managing Director of the Heidelberg City-Marketing and Event Limited.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics, with a major in Information Science and minors in Business Administration and American Studies.
During the course of her studies, she spent approximately two years in Chicago. There she completed several internships, including work as a trainee at Chicago’s Office of Tourism, with the Soccer World Cup Committee, and at the five-star Four Seasons hotel. Vera‘s particular interest in marketing and tourism began during her studies.
Since September 2016 Vera started a new career and her own business with exclusive tours in Heidelberg and the region.
She is also author of the red dot awarded book, ”Faszination Heidelberg/Fascination Heidelberg”.
Vera is happy to show you our wonderful region and to be your personal guide. She drives guests around in a deluxe Jeep Grand Cherokee, which she uses exclusively for her tours.
